We are less than a mile off the famous Blue Ridge Parkway, so we see a lot of bikers here. We are the perfect stop along your amazing riding experience. We invite you to stay with us and rest your bones (and bike).

We have nine rooms in our Lodge, one 1 bedroom cottage and two 2 bedroom cottages. In addition, we have a six-bedroom Manor House with 2-baths-handicapped accessible. The Manor House also has a washer and dryer and all the comforts for a relaxing mountain getaway making it suitable for large families and biking groups.

Enjoy a late night and a cold drink around our new stone fire ring where hardly a weekend goes by where you won't find someone telling tales or picking a banjo. You might also hear the fascinating history of the Lodge as well as our wonderful little town.

Come to Spear's and enjoy our "Great Food", quench your thirst with our "Fine Spirits" and have "Good Times" sharing your stories of the open road.

Sit at our outside covered deck or come inside to enjoy the one and only full service bar in our area. We have an extensive wine and beer list as well as a great selection of liquors.

Our specialty is BBQ-ribs, chicken and sliced pork–however, we are also known for our hand cut steaks, amazing seafood, great vegetarian dishes and fresh baked breads . . . especially our fantastic hushpuppies. We always use the best ingredients and buy local as much as possible.
